Carcasa:Este facuta tot din aluminium dar este mai usoara ca la primul model,cu aproximativ 100 greame,iPadul cantarid 601 grame.Poate nu pare prea mult dar cei care il folosesc foarte des o sa aprecieze diferenta de greutate.iPadul este mai subtire cu 35% decat modelul predecesor,avand o grosime de 8.8 mm.Realizarea tabletei este foarte buna ,fiind greu de gasit un defect ,si in plus este foarte silentioasa,ea putand fi considerata un standard pentru viitoarele modele de tablete.
